ANALISIS KEPEMIMPINAN VISIONER KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU DAN KUALITAS SEKOLAH (Studi Kasus Di SD N Duwet Dunggubah, Wonosari, Gunungkidul)

In an era of increasingly complex education, effective leadership is key to achieving the desired educational goals. Through this study, it is expected to identify factors that support and inhibit the implementation of visionary leadership and its impact on the quality of education in the school. This study aims to analyze the role of the principal's visionary leadership in improving the quality of education at SD N Duwet, Dunggubah, Wonosari, Gunungkidul Regency, D.I. Yogyakarta.
The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, with a descriptive design. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain comprehensive information regarding the implementation of visionary leadership. The selection of the location at SDN Duwet Wonosari was based on several reasons, one of which was to understand how visionary leadership can have an impact on improving school performance and quality in a relevant context. The theories used as references include the concept of visionary leadership that focuses on innovation, collaboration, and human resource development in the educational environment. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of the principal in creating a positive school climate and supporting learning.
The results of the study indicate that the principal's visionary leadership contributes significantly to improving the quality of education at SDN Duwet. There is an increase in teacher and student participation in the learning process, as well as initiatives to establish cooperation with external parties. However, several challenges such as limited resources and resistance to change must be faced. Recommendations from this study include the need for ongoing training for principals and teachers to optimize the implementation of visionary leadership for the achievement of superior education.
